Christmas Evening workshops
This christmas period, I will be opening the workshop for some “after dark” festive creative fun!
You are invited to join me for a two hour ‘Free Choice’ session of mosaic-making in a festive atmosphere. There will be a large choice of wooden shapes to choose from – a mixture of christmas themed and standard shapes. Shape examples include stars, christmas trees, gingerbread men, hearts, owls, cats, flowers, rockets, houses, birds, foxes…the list goes on! There really is something for everyone. As time is restricted to two hours for these sessions, I am suggesting first-time creators choose between the small or the medium sized shapes, however, if you are a fast worker, you are of course welcome to go big!
Price of the evening sessions are per person, and dependent on the size of shape chosen, and includes the grouting service of your object. (You will leave your objects with me for grouting – they will be ready for collection 3 days later (or can be posted back to you)).
Hot chocolate and mulled wine will be available to enjoy during your session.
WHAT DO I DO?
Step 1: Choose your wooden base
Step 2: Choose the tiles you want to use from the huge selection available
Step 3: Use the glue and supplied tools to stick the tiles to the base and create your design*
Step 4: When finished; hand your glued item to Sarah. When the glue is dry, she will grout it for you.
Step 5: Return to collect your finished mosaic item (usually after 2 or 3 days) OR request it to be posted to you (for a small extra charge)
* if you find it difficult to think of a design, there are some examples and design ideas to help you 👍
